Genmaicha Japanese organic green tea blend

from 31.45
The original type of Genmaicha was developed hundreds of years ago by Zen monks who mixed green tea with the browned rice stuck to the bottom of their cauldrons. It became a household green tea so popular, in fact that people took to mixing cereal with the tea leaves to make the tea stretch farther. Part of the reason it became so popular, is because of the smooth and mild flavour accompanied by a warming, and toasty aroma.
