Alishan Yonghu Hong Cha is one of our rare and exclusive Tea Cellar's gems. This dark-oxidized oolong tea comes from Alishan Area, in Southwest Taiwan, at an altitude of over 1200 Meters, and is made from the varietal Quing Xin. This oolong produces beautifully, clear, reddish-amber liquor, with subtle aromas of cinnamon, and a hint of dried flowers. On the palate it has a remarkably sweet and spicy (nutmeg) aftertaste, distinctive to the Qing Xin cultivar, with a lingering caramel finish

Alishan Yonghu Hong Cha is one of our rare and exclusive Tea Cellar's gem. It is a dark-oxidized oolongfrom Alishan Area, in Southwest Taiwan.  This tea produces abeautifully, clear, reddish-amber, aromatic liquor, that is remarkably sweet and spicy.

INGREDIENT:

High grown oolong tea from Alishan in Taiwan


STEEPING:

Quantity: leaves/water = 2.5g (1/2 tsp) / 8 ounces (1 cup = 250ml)

Water temperature = 95 deg. Celsius / 203 deg. Fahrenheit

Steeping time = 6 min. +

Teapot type = Yixing or Western

Note, tip, advice:

Gives multiple brews in any kinds of teapot.  For optimum results use a traditional Yixing teapot

Milk addition is not recommended

Sweetener suggestion: maple syrup
